Soft Machine have recorded a brand new studio track for a Syd Barrett Tribute 2CD set 'Clowns and Jugglers'. The track is 30mins 30 and is a reimagining of the Syd Barrett track 'Rhamadan'. It is now available to pre-order from Burning Shed. Note - on the 2LP vinyl edition, the Soft Machine tracks is a 9 min 40 edit of this full version.
Also appearing on the album are tracks by Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, David Bowie, Robyn Hitchcock, Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets, Tim Bowness and many more. There is also a solo Theo Travis track – a version of Late Night by Syd Barrett.
